About Taylor
Ducks and Deadlifts started as a Facebook page for whatever the ducks were doing in the morning and whatever I lifted at night. It is still exactly that, with more ducks.
The first two were Menace and Giblets. Menace used to wake me at five every morning. Now a rooster wakes her, and with some land between us, I sleep through it. From there it went the way it always goes: a Pekin drake named Clover, dropped off by someone who could not keep him; then Mr Peep and his girls; then, finally, a Cayuga; then seven more birds in two days. We moved to just over two acres in New Port Richey, Florida, to give them room, and it turned out that meant three coops and runs, not one.
Along the way I have dealt with fly strike, a prolapse, egg eaters, a Silkie chick with extra toes, and a bird that jumped a fence and got stuck upside down. I film that part too, because the questions I get most are the ones nobody answers on the nice-looking farm accounts.
The gym is the other half. Strength training is what makes the farm physically possible, and the deadlift is the lift I care about most. It is newer on camera than the ducks, and I am fixing that.

Questions I get
Who is Taylor from Ducks and Deadlifts?
Taylor is a content creator in New Port Richey, Florida. She keeps ducks, chickens, and meat rabbits on two acres, takes in ducks that people can no longer keep, and trains in the gym, with the deadlift as her main lift. Ducks and Deadlifts is her brand on Facebook, TikTok, and this site.
Where is the farm?
New Port Richey, Florida, on the Gulf Coast northwest of Tampa.
Do you take in ducks?
Sometimes. Several of the flock arrived as drop-offs from people who could not keep them. Space is the limit, so send a message before you show up with a duck.
Can I work with you?
Yes. Brand partnerships, product reviews, local events, and press go through the Work with me page or by email.
